I've been invited to talk at some really awesome Brighton events to packed out audiences. The first was for the globally recognised Pecha Kucha, in which the format is to present 20 slides in 20 seconds for each. The theme was Brighton Grub and I was invited to share the success story of Street Diner alongside some of the city's brightest food stars. The second talk (and close to my heart) was at Brighton's biggest creative co-working space Platf9rm in celebration of 2019's International Women's Day. For this talk I shared my experiences as a woman working in the mostly boys' world of street food. Managing an almost exclusively male line-up of traders while wearing red lipstick. YES, IT IS POSSIBLE.
